Any instruction will probably involve the following:-

Specification

Cobwebbery liaises with the client to explore their goals and objectives. From there a project outline is created which incorporates the customer's requirements and solutions are formally proposed. Where required, marketing, support and site management issues are also highlighted within the brief and included within the specification.

Design Concept and Production

Cobwebbery has its own in-house design team, specialising in the creation of imaginative web design concepts. Design-related skills include the expert use of: PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, DreamWeaver, Fireworks, Corel Draw, Corel PhotoPaint, 3D Studio Max and Director. The design team has full appreciation of dynamic databases and therefore is able to incorporate complex data returns into their designs. These visual concepts may include traditional web graphics as well as panoramic imaging and animation. In converting 'design' to 'working page' our designers have the skills to interpret a look and feel to complex models where dynamic systems and live data feeds are employed. Where required by the client, the design team can work in partnership with external design agencies, for example for the interpretation of print media for the web.

Technical Development

The Cobwebbery technical team comprises professional software architects, programmers and engineers. Our programmers are able to adapt to the enormous variation of language types and methods of code production needed to support web applications. They are able to efficiently produce stable Content Management Systems for customers requiring control of their content and these have been applied effectively in the property, auto and travel sectors. The Cobwebbery technical team is also able to advise and assist with the incremental deployment of large integrated server applications for the web.

Server Management

Cobwebbery maintains a number of their own Web servers for hosting sites and controlling the distribution of email for a number of domains. These servers are built and managed to high standards to ensure stability at all times. Cobwebbery has adopted strict server management policies to maintain the integrity and security of their systems and are Data Protection Act registered and compliant.

Search Engine Submission

A new addition to the services’ portfolio is that of Search Engine submission. Following lengthy analysis of search engine submission criteria, we have detailed specifications and are able to offer web agencies and clients a premium quality submission service managed end-to-end. This service will now become a standard offering in quotes for new project work.

Marketing & The Internet
